We are aware of the issue with Google comment logins and are working on a fix.
It is going to take us a while to implement one due to various personal and software reasons.

What is a Google Lognin? I am using Google Chrome and I have just logged in.

It's using your Google account to log in, with any browser. There's a button for it on the login page. It fails because Google just updated the API it uses (with plenty of warning, but Reed may not have been looking).
I usually use it but today the similar WordPress login is working for me.

Wasn't "Google Loggins" a character in Li'l Abner?
No. Guess not.

I think Abner always had "Shmoogle longins." They tasted better than chicken, and just loved to hop into the frying pan.
