Colorado Maker of Death Threats Against Biologists Restrained

The Colorado Daily reports that Michael Korn, the person who emailed death threats to biology faculty at Colorado University - Boulder was sent a restraining order in email on December 6th, and agreed to its terms in minutes. They apparently used email because no one seems to know just where Michael Korn might reside. The article relies in part upon material quoted here on Panda's Thumb.

Korn replied to the email saying “i have read your letter and understand its terms. Š i appreciate your warning, and i will heed it even as i am saddened by the refusal of the CU faculty to conduct open and honest discourse on this matter.”

Apparently, he believes that sending anonymous death threats as a way to suppress education is "open and honest discourse".

Last I heard, MK was on the run and the Boulder police were looking for him.

He is believed to be in North Carolina where safe houses for Xian terrorists are suspected to be located.

His last emails to PZ (posted by PZ) were considerably toned down. An encouraging sign. Some of these guys wake up one morning, and go, "I can't believe I did that."
Others wake up one morning and say, "Will 3 guns and 500 rounds of ammo be enough."

Let's hope for the best.

I hate to say this but continued silence from a nut case like this is NOT a good sign. Fanatic emotions just cannot be turned-off by a restraining order. This guy is planning...... Unless, of course, it was all just an adolescent joke in the first place. Ya know - one of those people who loves to control others by terrorizing them.

This is clearly a false flag operation on the part of evolutionists. If a person is sending death threats via the internet, there are means and investigators ready and willing to identify the source of such threats.

Check Pharyngula for the source of the threats against PZ Myers. Of course they know whereabouts of the computer (in North Carolina, after Korn fled from Colorado) from which Korn threatened PZ. But it's on a college campus, and available to a lot of people.

(And may I say, BS, taking such a cavalier attitude toward death threats is a new low, even for creationists.)

B.S. Detector lying: AKA known as Kansas Troll: This is clearly a false flag operation on the part of evolutionists. If a person is sending death threats via the internet, there are means and investigators ready and willing to identify the source of such threats.

Always nice to hear from wannabe Xian terrorists who are mentally ill and lying. A tautology of course. Michael Korn has a very long history with the police in several jurisdictions for stalking, harrassment, and death threats. He used to deliver his missives in person before the cops started looking for him. He also has many newspaper articles about his terrorist activities. And a history of erratic behavioral quirks documented on the internet. Now he is on the run with an arrest warrant from Boulder out on him. Anything can be traced on the internet by Homeland Security or the FBI. But one needs probable cause and the appropiate warrants and subpoenas. AFAIK, his behavior has not yet risen to the level where the feds are involved and Boulder police only have jurisdiction in Boulder. It also doesn't help when the individual is moving around and posting threats from a different state each time. Fundamentalist Xian is synonymous with lying these days. I guess the real question in the cults is, "What lie would Jesus tell?" IMO, if JC ever came back to earth, he would be appalled at what happened to his teachings.

On the very small chance that there is a real perpetrator out there making such threats, I don't want to spill all of the beans, but if an email was sent out to this unlikely perpetrator, and he responded, it is very likely that he would have been caught by now.

Furthermore, it is very unlikely that details of the outbound message and the response to it would have been leaked to evolution activists until after the capture of the person making such threats.

It is possible that the alleged person making the threats was knowledgeable enough to thwart investigative techniques I allude to, but I doubt it.

This is reminiscent of threatening emails sent by opponents of the permit to carry law to friendly law makers in Minnesota. False flag operations like this are common place.

Not very good at reading comprehension are you? If Korn is moving around, all they would know is where he received the email. If he is using wireless, that makes it even harder. In fact, he is on the run according to the newspapers. There is a real MK and he vacated his last known residence in a hurry shortly before the police closed in.

More BS from BS. The faculty at UC Boulder filed a restraining order and a complaint and have had continuing contact with the police. In fact, the restraining order was sent after Korn continued sending his incoherent messages while on the run to the UC faculty. As such, it would be standard operating procedure to notify victims of stalking, harrassment, and threats that a restraining order was sent and acknowledged. In fact, this whole thread is about Korn acknowledging receipt of a restraining order. Incidently his targets aren't "evolution activists" whatever those are. They are scientists on the faculty of various state universities. You do know the difference between scientists and "activists", don't you? Probably not, your ignorance seems to be characteristic of someone who has never even seen a university.

You know this how? Korn has threatened many scientists in many parts of the country over a long period of time both in person and by email, and is wanted by the police. You should stop listening to the voices in your head. They've never been very reliable. Hmmm, maybe you are Michael Korn running a false flag operation? Have you checked your ID lately? And BTW, the cops are after this guy. I doubt they would be a willing party to a fake threat situation.

The main purpose of Making death threats is to impress the peoples and the reason why the biologists tells that the draw back toghtly, as a rein.
This will lead to the comparison between the makers of death threats and biologists restrained.
