Prof. Steve Steve and his trusty sidekick Nick Matzke plan to be at the NCSE booth at the
AAAS Annual Meeting at the Hilton in downtown San Francisco from 10-5, Saturday, February 17. I know many PT people and ScienceBloggers are at the meeting, so stop by and see us! (
transport info)
Prof. Steve Steve, and perhaps Nick, will also be in attendance on Sunday and Monday. It looks like Saturday and Sunday have free Exhibit Hall admission on account of
2007 Family Science Days.
As with every AAAS meeting, the true goal is to get invited to the Science Journalists' Party, which I hope is Saturday night. They always throw quite a bash, although it will be hard to trump the molten chocolate fountain from the DC meeting a few years back.

OT, but as an experiment, could you try moving the pic of the good prof. to the top of your post instead of letting the text wrap around it to the right?
several of us are having problems with posts that have pics causing problems with the menu layer to the right.
thanks

CALL FOR PREDICTIONS
The Design Paradigm, a blog run by members of the Cornell IDEA Club, is asking for testable predictions based on "Darwinism" (i.e. evolution via the mechanism of natural selection). Your contributions are welcome.
Ooh, they're picky. They will not accept predictions based merely on common descent (although you can see my comments there about that), the predictions have to specifically involve natural selection.
