D. James Kennedy: BUSTED!

Posted 22 August 2006 by

The Anti-Defamation League has condemned Kennedy and Darwin's Deadly Legacy, and Francis Collins has announced that he is "appalled," calling the program "misguided and inflammatory." Whew. It looks like this bit of propaganda has blown up in their faces.

Jingoism by any other name still stinks to this day.

The Baby Jesus weeps for lies committed in his name.

David Horton over at HuffPo wrote, "Just Another Hitler Comparison, Misapplied," and as usual he attracted an assortment of pig-ignorant, Ann Coulter reading Bush lovers who jumped on him for stating some obvious facts that they take as insults:

One person commenting there, Bellerophon, illustrates just how twisted their thought processes are. Might be worth a peek if you're interested in just how screwed up a human being can get.

Huh? The Designists caught in a LIE? No way! It's always the atheistic Darwinists who spew lies to turn little kids over to Satan!!!

At least they don't seem to have managed to get away with it in the same way as Keziah productions did with Richard Dawkins in 1998. Maybe it's all the publicity on blogs like the Panda's Thumb, and others, that's made the difference this time. By the way, was the PT in existence in 1998 ?

What did Francis Collins expect? He was a damn fool to put himself out there in the first place as an experimental scientist to have found evidence for his personal god. He opened that door and the fundamentalist charlatans eagerly walked in. I know it is not Christian of me, but I am finding a certain satisfaction in his discomfort.

over on pharyngula somebody finally pointed out the oddity that Coulter's name may have been removed from the press release/promo materials for this bit of diarhea, but she is still featured front and center on the website advertising the show:

I suggest you bookmark/save this for posterity

To believe that Hitler's genocidal policies are the result of Darwin's theory will require that during the centuries previous there were no killing of Jews in any of the Christian nations. Because as we all know, there is intrinsic value in the preservation of human life and we are all a happy family. That premise is patently and obviously false. For hundred of years the Christian nations engaged in purges of the Jews from time to time. One example, upon the expulsion of the moors from Spain by the Christian king and queen in 1492, Jews were given a nice choice to pick. You either convert, leave the country or die. And that is despite the contributions of many Sephardis to the history and life of the nascent nation.
So as far as I know Darwin was not even "conceived" during those glorious days of Christianity. How Darwinism contributed or is the causative agent for the Holocaust? It just baffles the mind.

I haven't been up to anything today. I can't be bothered with anything recently. Nothing seems worth thinking about. I haven't gotten anything done recently, but oh well. Not much noteworthy going on worth mentioning.

Sten74128 · 15 January 2007

I can't be bothered with anything these days, but such is life. I don't care. So it goes. More or less nothing seems worth thinking about. I've just been hanging out waiting for something to happen, but that's how it is.

Sten52529 · 16 January 2007

Not much on my mind right now, but it's not important. I've just been letting everything happen without me. I just don't have anything to say right now.
